Hull City extended their unbeaten start to the Premier League season on Saturday, holding Chelsea to a 2-2 draw at Stamford Bridge thanks to another commanding performance from goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis.
Chelsea took the lead in the 7th minute through Rogers, the first goal Hull have conceded this season. Hull hit back with two goals from Belloumi, in the 28th and 34th minutes, before Joao Pedro salvaged a point for Chelsea in the 66th minute.
Tzolakis, a Greek international goalkeeper, made four important saves to deny Chelsea's forwards a winner. Christos Mouzakitis was left out of Hull's matchday squad. Hull City were promoted to the Premier League this season and have yet to lose a league match.
Villa's winless run continues
Nottingham Forest came from behind to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at Villa Park. Delap put Forest ahead in the 46th minute, Allison equalised for Villa in the 74th minute, but Igor Jesus struck in the 88th minute to snatch the win for Forest. Aston Villa have now gone four straight league matches without a win.
Liverpool held by Fulham
Liverpool were held to a goalless draw at home by Fulham. The result leaves Liverpool still unbeaten this season, with one win and three draws from their opening matches, but they remain some way off the top of the table.
Late drama at Selhurst Park
Ipswich Town came from behind twice to beat Crystal Palace 3-2 at Selhurst Park, with Fleming scoring the winner in the 90th minute. Chalaili put Palace ahead in the 14th minute and Larsen added a second in the 75th, but Emerson's 23rd-minute goal, a strike from Davis just before half-time and Fleming's late winner completed the turnaround for Ipswich. The win lifted Ipswich to seventh place, level on six points with Liverpool and Brentford.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth and Brentford shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Kluivert and Tavernier scored for Bournemouth, in the 38th and 52nd minutes respectively, while Schade scored twice for Brentford, in the 34th and 56th minutes.
Fixtures still to be played
Several fourth-round fixtures were still to be completed at the time of writing. Tottenham Hotspur were due to face Everton, and Sunderland were due to host Arsenal. Coventry City were scheduled to host Brighton & Hove Albion on 13 September, alongside Manchester United's home match against Manchester City. Leeds United were set to host Newcastle United on 14 September.
