Mumiy Troll lead singer Ilya Lagutenko has launched a tour of Europe and the United States to earn three million dollars to repair his burned house in California, according to Telegram channel Shot. The tour runs from March to October and includes 18 concerts in total.
The band has already completed nine shows in European cities. Nine performances remain on the schedule, with stops planned in London, Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and Miami.
Insurance covered only 10 percent of the restoration cost, leaving Lagutenko in need of another 2.5 million dollars for reconstruction. The single-story cottage burned during wildfires in January 2025.
Big Rock cottage history
The 205-square-meter home is located in Big Rock, situated between Malibu and Los Angeles. It features three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Lagutenko purchased the property in 2018 with a mortgage for 2.8 million dollars.
Landslides previously threatened the cottage, forcing the musician to invest 3.5 million dollars in foundation reinforcement starting in 2020. That project required a year and a half of work.
Additional California properties
Lagutenko also owns an undamaged house in the Bel-Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, which sat outside the fire zone. He bought that property in 2008 for 1.8 million dollars. Additionally, he holds an apartment in West Hollywood.
In 2025, bookings for the band were valued at 8.5 million rubles per show. Lagutenko receives half of that fee as the lead singer.
