Makhachev currently holds a record of 28 wins and one loss. Garry's record stands at 17 wins and one loss. The two fighters will meet on August 16 at UFC 330 in Philadelphia, in the United States. The bout is scheduled to start at around 06:00 Moscow time.

Bookmakers had earlier assessed the probability of an early win for the Russian fighter, naming Makhachev the clear favorite. His victory is priced at 1.27, while Garry's success is valued at 3.56.
