Julianne Hough dropped a hint about her love life while walking the red carpet at the 2026 Emmy Awards on Sept. 14, telling E! that she "might not be single."

The Dancing With the Stars co-host, wearing an Antonio Grimaldi gown, made the comment during an exclusive interview with Justin Sylvester on Live From E!: 2026 Emmy. "There's a lot to discuss off-camera," she said with a laugh.

When Sylvester joked that Dancing With the Stars contestant Sarah Jane Nader might get "cuffed up" this season, Hough replied, "You never know." Nader's sister, Brooks Nader, dated her pro dance partner Gleb Savchenko while competing on the show in 2024.

Hough, 38, was previously married to retired NHL player Brooks Laich from 2017 to 2022. Asked to say more about her own situation, she coyly added, "I have some tea."

Predictions for Dancing With the Stars Season 35
Dating talk aside, Hough also weighed in on who might win the Mirrorball Trophy on season 35, which premieres on ABC on Sept. 15.

"There are the frontrunners. We've seen Amber Glenn, Jenna [Dewan], Harry [Shum Jr.]," she told Sylvester. Glenn is a competitive figure skater, Dewan is an actress and dancer, and Shum is an actor best known for his role on Glee.

"But I will say, Taylor Hanson's got some moves, and he's got a great head of hair," Hough added, referring to the musician and member of the pop-rock band Hanson.
She is also rooting for Tatyana Ali, the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air alum, whom she described as "amazing."
"We're gonna have to watch," said Hough, who has co-hosted the ABC series with Alfonso Ribeiro since 2023. "I think this one is gonna keep us on our toes for sure."
Derek Hough on the New Season
Hough's brother, Dancing With the Stars judge Derek Hough, shared her enthusiasm for the upcoming season.
"The cast is incredible," he said during a Good Morning America appearance earlier this month. "The pros are energized. They're motivated. They're excited. They're ready to compete. It's gonna be an incredible season. I cannot wait."
The 41-year-old, a multiple-time Dancing With the Stars champion, added, "This is just magic in a bottle, and it continues to create magic every single season."
