Konstantinos Karetsas has become the biggest story in German football after completing his transfer from Belgian club Genk to Borussia Dortmund.

The move of the 19-year-old Greek international attacking midfielder has drawn attention both for how his career could develop and for the size of the fee involved. The transfer is expected to reach close to 35 million euros.

Presentation at a gyro shop
Dortmund chose to present Karetsas at a gyro shop and released new photos and videos showing the Greek international with supporters of the club.

In several of the images, and in some filmed scenes, Karetsas took on the role of waiter, serving gyros to fans of his new team.

Club shares images on social media
Borussia Dortmund's official account posted the photos on social media with the caption "🥰🥰🥰." A separate post showing Karetsas serving supporters carried the caption "Für Euch Fans!" ("For you fans!").

A further video, captioned "Kosta gibt 'ne Runde!" ("Kosta's buying a round!"), showed the player handing out gyros to the crowd.

Contract runs through 2031
Dortmund had officially announced Karetsas's arrival earlier the same day, confirming that he had signed a contract running until 2031. The club unveiled him with a video filmed at a gyro shop.
