Kelly Osbourne shared photos from her summer getaway on Instagram on Monday, August 17, posing in a swimsuit alongside her son and friends.
The media personality posted images of herself wearing a leopard print one-piece swimsuit during the vacation. Alongside the pictures, she shared a personal message with her followers about the importance of stepping away from daily chaos and taking time to rest.
In the post, Osbourne said that the summer trip reminded both her followers and herself that taking a break does not mean wasting time. She added that the vacation left her feeling as though she had been reborn this summer.
Reflection on Taking Time Away
Writing in detail in her post caption, Osbourne explained that she is learning how important it is to step away from the surrounding madness. She noted that she often becomes deeply involved with life, work, people, plans, and everything happening around her, to the point where she forgets she is allowed to stop.
Osbourne added that taking time off allowed her to turn everything off, breathe, and simply exist. She said that taking a break is sometimes exactly what a person needs to find themselves again, describing herself as feeling lighter, calmer, happier, and definitely not ready to return home.
She concluded her message with a note to herself to take breaks more frequently in the future, writing that life will still be there when one returns.
Osbourne, born in 1984, is a British television personality and singer. She is the daughter of heavy metal singer Ozzy Osbourne and television host Sharon Osbourne, and first gained public recognition appearing on her family reality show The Osbournes.
