Russian martial artist Anastasia Kosmycheva won the silver medal in the women's under-73 kg division at the World Taekwondo Championships in Taiyuan, China. Russian news portal Sport24 reported the result from the championship final match on Saturday.
Kosmycheva reached the title match before falling to Sarah Chaari of Belgium, who claimed the world championship gold medal in the weight category.
The global tournament in Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province in northern China, is set to conclude on August 30.
