Italian blogger Lorenzo Bagnati has won a court ruling against a company that attempted to cheat him out of hundreds of thousands of rubles over an advertising campaign.
The Baza Telegram channel, a prominent Russian digital news outlet, reported that the commercial dispute began when a company called Adat commissioned Bagnati through an agent to advertise a board game named Potolkuem.

Under the promotional agreement, the campaign was scheduled to run across YouTube, TikTok and Telegram. The Italian content creator completed the requested work, but the client transferred only half of the contracted fee, paying 400,200 rubles.
Adat refused to hand over the remaining sum, claiming that the promotional video clips had not been properly approved beforehand.
Court award and legal costs
Bagnati's agent took the dispute to court to recover the unpaid money. To substantiate the claim, the agent submitted printouts of the parties' messaging history, paying 43,400 rubles to have the electronic correspondence certified by a notary public.
Under Russian civil court procedures, digital correspondence and messaging records typically require formal notarial certification to be admitted as valid legal evidence during contractual disputes.
The court found in Bagnati's favour, ordering Adat to settle the outstanding debt, pay statutory penalties and reimburse the associated legal costs. In total, the court awarded the content creator 540,600 rubles.
The judgment has not yet entered into legal force, meaning the company retains the right to challenge the decision on appeal before the award becomes final.
Italian creator in Russia
Bagnati is widely described as one of the most popular Italian personalities in Russia. A classical concert pianist by training who moved to Moscow after studying music in Italy, he built a major audience across social media platforms by sharing humorous videos, musical performances and observations about living in the country.
His commentary regarding life in Russia has previously drawn public attention. In November 2025, Bagnati stated that the principal advantage of Moscow compared with Venice and other cities across the world was convenience.
