Solis told the audience that he experienced immense emotion upon hearing his song performed in Santos's vocal style and commended the magnificent quality of the Dominican singer's interpretation.
Solis also explained to the concert attendees how the song entered his own live set. He recalled that a saxophonist performing in his backing band asked him why he did not prepare the bachata arrangement to sing it himself. Solis responded to the suggestion enthusiastically, telling the audience that his group would perform the track for them with all their love.
