Marisol Almonte Leads Third 'Image Experience' Event

Dominican image consultant, mentor and public speaker Marisol Almonte held the third edition of "El poder de la imagen Experience 2026" (The Power of Image Experience) on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at the Event Center inside Acropolis Center in Santo Domingo. The gathering brought together women for a day built around strengthening presence, self-worth, communication and leadership.

The event ran under the slogan "Esto no es moda, es transformación" (This is not fashion, it is transformation). Organizers designed the experience to move beyond appearance and connect personal image with life story, confidence, purpose and the way each woman chooses to present herself to the world.

One of the central moments of the day was devoted to women's personal stories and to recognizing the processes that sit behind the image a person shows the world. Participants shared reflections on self-esteem, life decisions, dreams, personal growth and the ability to choose themselves again at different stages of life.

Panels and guest speakers

The program brought together professionals and guests from several fields. Widelina Castillo addressed style and color theory as tools for self-knowledge and personal expression, and also moderated the women's panel.

Daniela Fuentes spoke on aesthetics and skin care. Astrid delivered a talk titled "Volver a mí: la niña detrás de la imagen" (Returning to myself: the girl behind the image), while Doris presented "La mujer que decidió elegirse" (The woman who decided to choose herself). Chelmy and Pamela led an emotional segment on dreams, inspiration and the importance of supporting a girl's potential from her earliest years.

A box, a story and a message of transformation

One of the symbolic elements of this year's edition involved boxes that Almonte used to represent life's processes: some arrive with an appearance a person did not necessarily choose, while others, after growth and learning, can become a reward.

The same concept shaped the Gratitude Boxes handed out during the experience, given as recognition to people who have been part of the project's journey and growth.

Almonte closed the day with her own conference, "Demasiado Fashionista" (Too Fashionista), a talk inspired by her professional history and by a phrase that, at another point in her life, may have sounded like criticism but took on a completely different meaning over the years.

For Almonte, image is not limited to clothing or following trends. She describes it as a communication tool that can support a woman's personal and professional development when there is coherence between who she is, what she wants to communicate and how she chooses to present herself.

The third edition of "El poder de la imagen Experience" also had the backing of brands and partners who joined the event through activations, products, services and collaborations.
