Retail prices for merguez sausage range between 12 and almost 19 euros per kilo depending on the preparation. The TF1info video editorial team reported that taste varies based on how the product is prepared.
Cooking recommendations
A chef advised cooks to start preparing merguez sausage by steaming or boiling it in water for two to three minutes. The chef said the sausage should only be moved to the grill after that initial cooking phase.
