The 31 regional candidates competing for the Miss France 2027 title will travel together to the Caribbean island of Saint-Martin, a destination never before used in the pageant's history, organisers announced on Wednesday, September 16.
The Miss France Society and broadcaster TF1 revealed that the contestants will be welcomed on Saint-Martin, an island nicknamed the "Friendly Island." The trip follows last year's edition, when candidates travelled to Martinique.

Frederic Gilbert, president of the Miss France Society, said in a statement that the candidates' trip marks one of the first highlights of the Miss France journey each year, and that the organisation was delighted to experience it for the first time in Saint-Martin. He described the island as a warm and welcoming place, rich in identity and culture, which candidates from every region of France would have the chance to discover together.
Valerie Damaseau, president of the Saint-Martin Tourist Office, said the week would be an opportunity to showcase the island's beauty, culture and hospitality. She added that beyond the prestige of hosting the event, this edition represented a formidable showcase for promoting the destination to millions of French people.
The itinerary
During their stay, the 31 regional Miss contestants will explore the island, its Caribbean landscapes, heritage and cultural richness, accompanied by Hinaupoko Deveze, the reigning Miss France 2026. They will also take part in the pageant's well-known general knowledge quiz, a traditional feature of the candidates' trip.
