Portugal's Mobi.E electric vehicle charging network registered 6.71 million charges through July, representing a 31 percent increase compared to 2025. The total number of users reached 691,385 during the same period, which is more than double the figure recorded in the previous year.
Record monthly charging and user numbers
In July alone, Mobi.E registered more than one million charges across its public and private networks combined. In a statement, the organization highlighted that reaching one million monthly charges was an unprecedented benchmark that reinforces the growth trend of electric mobility in Portugal.
Mobi.E also indicated that more than 258,000 distinct users accessed the infrastructure during July. The company stated that this monthly user count represents an 89 percent year-on-year growth, reflecting national adoption of electric mobility.
