Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has joined Turkish club Trabzonspor after leaving Liverpool following a decade with the English side. The surprise move by the 35-year-old superstar has sparked widespread discussion across football.
Reports in Turkey indicate that the transfer comes with substantial financial rewards and benefits for Salah and his family members.

Contract Breakdown
According to reports in Turkey, Salah will receive an annual salary of 30 million euros at Trabzonspor. The transfer package reportedly includes a signing bonus of 20 million euros and an agent fee of 14 million euros.
Turkish publications report that the agreement includes luxury accommodations, featuring a luxury villa in Dubai and another luxury villa in Uzungol. Reports state that members of his family will receive luxury BMW cars, with vehicles provided for his father, mother, sibling, and wife.
The reported deal also covers private education costs for Salah's children. Turkish media state that the contract provides monthly allowances of 10,000 euros for his wife's hairdresser, 20,000 euros for kitchen supplies, and 5,000 euros for toilet paper.
Fan Welcome at Papara Park
More than 25,000 fans gathered at Papara Park to welcome Salah and call for the club to win the league championship.
Salah completed a lap of honor to greet the supporters. Addressing the crowd, Salah said he did not remember ever seeing a welcome like it before. He expressed great happiness at being in Trabzon, noted that around 25,000 fans had come to meet him, and described the atmosphere as incredible.
Trabzonspor is seeking its first league title since 2022. The club previously won the championship with key contributions from players Tasos Bakasetas and Manolis Siopis.
