Speaking to the publication, Yablokova said that selecting an appropriate snack after exercise prevents individuals from remaining hungry while waiting to eat a full meal later in the day.
Yablokova explained that protein should form the primary foundation of any post-workout snack because it promotes muscle recovery and provides a lasting feeling of satiety.
