Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool have entered official negotiations over the transfer of winger Bradley Barcola, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano.
Liverpool have tracked the 24-year-old France international for some time and have included him in their transfer planning, viewing him as a long-term investment, Romano reported.
Romano said Barcola views a move to Anfield positively, and that Liverpool's offer for him exceeds 100 million euros.
Despite the high figure, Paris Saint-Germain are not willing to easily let the player go, with the club's financial demands remaining higher than Liverpool's offer. Talks between the two clubs are continuing in a positive atmosphere, and the case remains open, according to Romano.
Barcola is coming off another full season and played for France at the recent World Cup, where the team reached the semifinals before being eliminated by eventual champions Spain.
