Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra has ratified Dr. Ana Bélgica Guichardo as the director of the School of Communication at its Santo Domingo campus.

Dr. Ana Bélgica Guichardo Bretón holds a doctorate in Communication and Journalism from the Autonomous University of Barcelona in Spain. She earned a master's degree in Educational Technology from PUCMM, as well as a master's degree in Higher Education Management and Teaching from the Catholic University of Santo Domingo.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Interamerican University, where she earned a bachelor's degree in Social Communication. Over her career, Guichardo has established a broad academic foundation in media studies and higher education across institutions in the Dominican Republic and abroad.
Institutional Work and Student Initiatives
Within PUCMM, Guichardo has been directly involved with corporate communication training programs. Her work has also encompassed audiovisual and film instruction projects developed under the umbrella of the School of Communication.
