Russia struck the Kalush Production HUB industrial park in Kalush, in Ukraine's Ivano-Frankivsk region, overnight on July 30, 2026, during a massed attack on the country. The park reported the strike on its Facebook page.
The park said the enemy hit the site for a second time, striking buildings that were empty and awaiting reconstruction. The blast wave damaged the facade of a building that the park had spent more than ten months restoring, according to the post.
No one was hurt in the attack, the park said.
The Kalush Production HUB noted that Russia first struck the park in September 2025. The park said the enemy keeps hitting the same spot, adding that there was effectively nothing at the site, which was under reconstruction and waiting for the war to end.
Damage assessment underway
An assessment of the damage is currently in progress, the park said.
The industrial park was added to the official registry in September 2024. It was initiated by the company Khimzavod Kalush. At the time, officials said the park would bring together dozens of production facilities across 24 hectares, covering chemicals, furniture, metal products, non-metallic mineral products, paper, and rubber and plastic goods. The project was expected to create about 2,100 new jobs.
Early on July 30, Russian forces attacked the Ivano-Frankivsk region with missiles. According to Svitlana Onyshchuk, head of the regional military administration, the strikes damaged one industrial facility, more than 50 houses and nine outbuildings across the Kalush and Ivano-Frankivsk districts. She said there were no injuries.
