Unnecessary AI and System Features
Specialists at the outlet recommended first disabling AI wallpaper, a default program responsible for displaying wallpapers generated using artificial intelligence.
Artificial intelligence wallpaper features rely on algorithmic image generation to render custom backgrounds for lock screens and home displays.
The authors also highlighted that removing the AICore component can free up to 6 gigabytes of storage space on a smartphone. AICore serves as the internal component responsible for launching neural networks on the device without requiring an internet connection.
On-device neural network processing allows smartphones to execute complex machine learning tasks directly on local hardware chips rather than transmitting data to remote servers. System components like AICore manage specialized hardware accelerators found in modern processors.
Additionally, a package of augmented reality functions is routinely installed on Android phones alongside Google Play services. The writers observed that unless a user actively utilizes augmented reality applications, this system software simply remains idle while consuming system resources.

Android Auto allows drivers to project smartphone navigation, messaging, and media playback onto compatible vehicle dashboard displays to support hands-free operation.
For owners of Samsung devices specifically, the portal recommended deleting Personalisation Service, which powers the built-in recommendation system on those phones.
