Banco Inter's Crediário Digital Splits Purchases Into 24x

Banco Inter's Crediário Digital lets Inter Shop customers finance purchases in up to 24 installments without using a credit card limit.

Banco Inter's Crediário Digital Splits Purchases Into 24x

Banco Inter is offering a digital installment financing service called Crediário Digital for purchases made through Inter Shop, the online marketplace built into the bank's Super App, allowing customers to split payments into up to 24 monthly installments without using their credit card limit.

Banco Inter is a Brazilian digital bank that operates primarily through its Super App, which combines banking, investment and shopping features. Inter Shop, also known as Shopping do Inter, is the retail marketplace section of that app, and Crediário Digital applies specifically to items bought in its "Compre dentro do Inter" section.

How Crediário Digital Works

The service functions like a traditional installment payment booklet, known in Brazil as a carnê, but the entire process takes place digitally through the Super App. It follows four steps: Inter runs a credit analysis on the customer, sets an available spending limit, collects a down payment at the moment of purchase, and then splits the remaining balance into monthly installments.

The down payment is debited automatically from the customer's account as soon as the purchase is confirmed. The remaining balance can then be divided into as many as 24 installments, depending on the conditions available for each transaction. Approval of credit depends on Inter's analysis, and the available limit can vary according to the criteria the bank applies.

How to Buy Using Crediário Digital

Customers can complete the purchase directly through Shopping do Inter in six steps: open Shopping do Inter inside the Super App, choose a product available under this payment option, tap Buy, select Crediário Digital as the payment method, choose the number of installments available, and confirm the transaction.

Once the credit analysis is approved, the purchase is completed and the down payment is charged automatically. The installments are then billed according to the schedule set out when the financing was arranged.

Benefits of the Service

Crediário Digital was designed to widen customers' payment options, particularly when a credit card limit is not enough or when a shopper prefers to keep that limit free for other expenses. Its main advantages include installment payments that do not draw on a credit card, a fully digital application process, a down payment taken directly from the customer's account, financing terms of up to 24 installments depending on availability, installment tracking through the app, and access to thousands of products listed on Shopping do Inter.

Because the whole operation runs inside the bank's digital environment, customers can check all information related to the financing in one place.

Tracking Installments Through the App

After signing up, customers can monitor their financing directly through the Inter Super App. They open Inter Shop, use the search bar, look up Crediário Digital, and access the management section.

From there, customers can check the amount financed, the number of installments, due dates, the status of payments and the details of the contract. This tracking makes it easier for shoppers to manage their finances and stay on top of payments.

When Crediário Digital Makes Sense

The service can be useful for consumers who do not have a credit card, who have little available limit, who prefer not to commit their card limit, or who want to better organise their payment flow.

As with any form of credit, shoppers are advised to check whether the installments fit their budget and to weigh the total cost of the operation before completing a purchase. Inter brings the service together within its digital ecosystem, letting customers buy through Shopping do Inter using different payment methods and track the entire financing arrangement through the Super App.

Frequently Asked Questions

Inter's own guidance addresses common questions about the service. A credit card is not required, since the plan exists specifically to offer an installment option that does not depend on a card limit. At the time of purchase, a down payment is debited automatically from the customer's account, and the rest of the amount is split into monthly installments, which can reach up to 24 depending on the credit analysis and the conditions of the transaction.

Available limit can be checked directly in the Super App, either during the purchase process or on the Shopping do Inter homepage, though granting credit remains subject to analysis. Installments can be tracked in the Shopping section of the Super App, where customers can view their contract, due dates, installments and payments already made.
