Ukrainian company BlueBird Tech has launched a mobile flight game called Bebradron: Sky Survival, allowing users to pilot a virtual fixed-wing drone while dodging incoming missiles.
The game challenges players to maintain flight for as long as possible while navigating hostile virtual airspace. It is available through the company's official mobile application on iOS and Android platforms.
During each flight, players maneuver their virtual aircraft to avoid enemy missiles and collect in-game items. Collectible bonuses include protective shields and extra lives to help extend overall survival time.
Players also collect virtual coins while flying. These coins can be spent inside the game to upgrade the fixed-wing drone and enhance its flight performance characteristics.
Fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles rely on rigid wings to generate lift, similar to conventional airplane designs. They differ from multirotor quadcopters by offering longer range endurance and higher cruising speeds in real aviation operations.
Leaderboards and military achievements
A real-time leaderboard displays participant scores and updates continuously. The ranking system evaluates overall flight duration, the total quantity of collected coins, and the number of missiles destroyed during gameplay.
The game also rewards players with military-style chevrons when they complete various in-game tasks and operational objectives.
Chevrons are V-shaped sleeve badges traditionally worn on military uniforms to denote rank, unit identity, and operational qualifications. In Ukrainian defense culture, chevrons hold significant symbolic value for soldiers and tactical units.
Users can access Bebradron: Sky Survival by opening the main BlueBird Tech mobile app and navigating to the Entertainment section. Apple iOS and Google Android support the application.
Drone detector software integration
Beyond mobile entertainment, the main BlueBird Tech application functions as a control interface for hardware detection devices. Users can connect to Chuyka drone detectors through the app to monitor device operational status and install software updates.
Radio-frequency drone detectors like the Chuyka system monitor local airwaves to detect signals emitted by uncrewed aerial vehicles. Defense forces and security personnel use detection equipment to receive early warnings of approaching drones.
Mobile app integration allows hardware manufacturers to deploy software patches and status updates to field equipment without requiring specialized computer hardware.
BlueBird Tech defense products
The release of the mobile game follows several hardware product developments by BlueBird Tech. The Ukrainian manufacturer previously presented the Clover 5.8 GHz antenna designed for first-person view (FPV) drones.
First-person view drones transmit live video feeds from on-board cameras directly to goggles or monitors worn by the pilot. Antennas operating on the 5.8 GHz frequency band assist in maintaining stable video transmission over tactical distances.
BlueBird Tech has also launched manufacturing of Chipa net throwers, which feature an effective operational range of up to 25 meters.
Net throwers serve as non-explosive counter-drone tools that launch physical mesh nets to entangle aircraft propellers. Capturing the rotors disables the target drone instantly, causing it to fall safely to the ground.
