Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have married in a private ceremony at their home in Cascais, Portugal, a decade after they began their relationship.
The footballer and the influencer held the wedding on August 11, the tenth anniversary of the day they met at a Gucci store in Madrid. The couple chose to exchange vows in the room where they gather as a family for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with only their five children, a few family members, and a media team from Vogue magazine as witnesses.

Ronaldo is one of the most successful football players in history, having won multiple Ballon d'Or awards and Champions League titles during his career with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus and the Portugal national team. Rodriguez is a model, influencer and the star of her own reality television series. The couple have two children together, and raise three of Ronaldo's other children.
Rodriguez told Vogue magazine that the event was exactly as she had imagined it. She explained that they chose the dining room because it is where they live their daily lives. She expressed hope that in 30 years, their children will remember that the marriage vows took place at that table.
Speaking to the publication, Rodriguez described the event as intimate and full of love, with their family as the undisputed focus. She noted that she could not hold back her tears and that she needed nothing more than her husband, her children, her home, her faith and her love.
Rodriguez opted for an elegant, tailored suit by the fashion house Gucci by Demna. Ronaldo avoided a traditional tuxedo, wearing a coordinated light beige design by Gucci. The choice moved away from the traditional codes of a large celebrity wedding.
Following the exchange of vows in their home, Ronaldo and Rodriguez visited the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima to receive a private blessing. The Catholic shrine in central Portugal is one of the most prominent pilgrimage sites in the world.
Millions in diamonds
The jewelry worn by the bride included an engagement ring featuring a large oval diamond. Experts consulted by Vogue estimated that the central stone alone could be worth more than 5 million euros, and potentially between 10 and 12 million euros, depending on its quality. Rodriguez also wore a necklace from the Chopard collection The Garden of Kalahari, which featured a 50-carat diamond.
Life after football
Looking ahead, Rodriguez envisions a new phase focused on their family. Ronaldo has acknowledged that his professional career is approaching a transition away from football. The forward wants to use the coming years to travel, spend time with his children and develop other projects.
Ronaldo has left open the possibility of having more children. While Rodriguez feels another baby would create too much disruption at home right now, she does not rule out the idea for the future. Ronaldo described this new stage of their lives by saying that every day is a honeymoon.
