Following his stint in Peru, Herrera is set to perform in the Colombian locations of Itagui in Antioquia department, as well as Casanare department, before heading to Quetzaltenango in Guatemala. The tour is scheduled to conclude at the end of August with final performances in Cartagena, Colombia, and Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

Tour progress and international performances

Herrera expressed that one of the things he enjoys most is bringing his live music to audiences in other countries, describing the experience as a feeling he finds difficult to explain. He noted that performing on major stages and seeing his music continue to transcend generations, with entire families singing and dancing to his repertoire, remains a magical experience.

Merengue is a fast-paced genre of Latin music and dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. Herrera, a native of Santiago de los Caballeros, established himself as one of the genre's premier vocalists after launching a solo career following his early work with the orchestra of Wilfrido Vargas.

Reflecting on his current career momentum, the singer highlighted that this year has been wonderful and stated that many significant developments remain in progress as his team continues to work. He added that he has a loyal audience to whom he will always be grateful and committed to delivering the best of his musical project.

Upcoming projects and Dominican radio promotion

The tour follows recent work including his single Si No Era Yo, released from his album Novato Apostador. The international appearances have served to consolidate his position as one of the foremost representatives of merengue on the global stage.

Upon returning to the Dominican Republic, the singer and songwriter plans to focus on promoting his music across national radio stations. He will also advance work on new material that he has been preparing alongside his touring schedule.
