Estrela da Amadora, of the Portuguese top flight, presented their provisional 28-man squad for the 2026/27 season to club members on Saturday, with five new signings among those unveiled.
The new arrivals are goalkeeper Leo Linck, formerly of Botafogo in Brazil; defenders Rafa Soares, who joins from Famalicao, and Lucas Mincarelli, who comes from Montpellier in France; midfielder Lovro Zvonarek, previously at Bayern Munich in Germany; and forward Beni Souza, who arrives from Benfica.
The presentation took place before a pre-season friendly against Saudi club Al Nassr in the Trofeu Cidade da Amadora at the Estadio Jose Gomes.
The squad is managed by Pepa, who is beginning his first season with the Reboleira-based club. Five players from the club’s under-23 side have also been included: defender Nathan Malaca, midfielders Santiago Serra, Pedro Vanga and Tiago Pinto, and forward Henrique Poniewas.
The event also featured a tribute ceremony for Miguel Lopes, a former Estrela da Amadora captain who has retired from playing and joined the club’s structure as technical coordinator.
