Barcelona midfielder Gavi dyed his hair pink following Spain's victory at the 2026 World Cup to fulfill a promise made to fans.
The 22-year-old player had promised supporters that he would dye his hair pink if Spain reached the top of the world. Fans remembered the statement after the national team won the tournament, prompting Gavi to carry out the change.
World Cup Promises
Gavi was not the only member of the national squad to make a tournament pledge. Marc Cucurella had also promised to get a tattoo showing the face of manager Luis De La Fuente if Spain won the 2026 World Cup.
Video footage published online showed Gavi training with his new hair color after completing the makeover.
