Greek teenager Konstantinos Karandrikas started for Bayern Munich’s under-19 side in the club’s first official match of the 2026/27 season, just days after completing his move from Atromitos.
The 17-year-old centre-back had passed all of Bayern Munich’s trials and moved to Munich only the week before the fixture, yet immediately earned the trust of the U19 coach.
Karandrikas lined up in the starting eleven for the match against Eintracht 1949 alongside Heo, Moumouni, Nuraj, Gashi, Horoszczak, Afanou, Snip, von Taube, Schaff and Hentcho Nseke, with Nadler, Horvath, Imade, Babl, Schreyer, Maric and Hentcho among the substitutes.
