Cuban wrestler Greili Bencosme won the gold medal in the women's 50-kilogram freestyle wrestling tournament at the XXV Central American and Caribbean Games Santo Domingo 2026.
Bencosme defeated her opponent from Mexico, Mercedes Castillo, 5-0 by a pin. Before the end of the bout, Bencosme was leading Castillo on points. Castillo earned the silver medal.
Bronze Medals
Yorlenis Morán of Panama won a bronze medal after defeating Ariana Rodríguez of Nicaragua 5-0 by fall in the first period of their match. Nohalis Loyo of Venezuela claimed the other bronze medal via forfeit.
