Residents of Kaliningrad and its region have been warned of a thunderstorm with rain starting on Wednesday evening, August 5, according to Telegram channel Amber Mash.
Hail, thunderstorms, and wind will hit the region during the evening. Storm clouds will move across the region from the west to the northeast.
Weather hazard warning
A yellow level of hazard is active in the region. Meteorologists reported that the warning period for thunderstorms remains active until 10 p.m. on Wednesday.
Thunderstorms are also expected in places from 10 p.m. Wednesday until 9 p.m. on Thursday. Rain is expected from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 7 p.m. on Thursday.
Forecasters predicted that daytime air temperatures in Kaliningrad would reach up to plus 28 degrees Celsius on Wednesday.
Earlier, part of the residents of the Far East were warned of night frosts and rain with sleet.
