Spanish footwear manufacturer Feroz has launched a collective community initiative called ConeXión Feroz to mark its tenth anniversary.
The campaign brings together 635 participants organised into 50 active teams across Spain and abroad to reconstruct the brand's ten-year history. Participating groups, referred to by the company as tribes, are taking part in creative challenges running throughout the summer until September.
According to the company, the prize fund increases as more teams join the competition and can reach up to 10,000 euros.

Creative challenges and team points
The interactive initiative relies on community participation rather than a traditional corporate retrospective. Members have already generated original songs, videos, photographs, and artwork centered on the company's growth and core values.
Organisers reported that participating teams have accumulated 6,065 points and earned 38 badges since the start of the summer challenges. Teams collect points through three main criteria: submitting completed tasks within set deadlines, demonstrating artistic creativity and brand spirit, and generating engagement across social media channels.
Participants are currently completing a challenge titled La criatura de la tribu, or The Tribe's Creature. The task requires teams to design and bring to life a fictional creature that reflects their specific approach to parenting, walking, and shared family values.
Earlier assignments encouraged members to research company history, recover personal memories, and share family stories about how concepts such as free movement and natural child development shaped their parenting practices.
Company origins and barefoot footwear design
The anniversary project coincides with a major corporate transformation as the business officially rebrands from Zapato Feroz to Feroz. Founders Laura García and Héctor Nebot established the company in 2016 in the Spanish region of Valencia.
The pair started the business after searching for children's footwear that allowed for the natural physical development of growing feet. Barefoot shoes are designed with thin, flexible soles, flat footbeds, and wide toe boxes that permit natural movement and toe alignment.
Over the past decade, Feroz expanded its product lines from infant footwear to shoes for children and adults. The company focuses on sustainable design, educational outreach, and supporting families with a philosophy centered on respecting childhood.
Company officials noted that word-of-mouth recommendations, parenting groups, and direct family referrals drove the majority of the firm's growth over the past ten years.
Upcoming competition stages
The leaderboard remains open and continues to update as teams complete tasks and earn badges. Several additional challenges will be revealed before the competition concludes in September.
Organisers confirmed that final leaderboard positions will determine the distribution of the overall prize fund when the summer campaign finishes.
