Los Angeles Families Can Claim Free Food From Aug 17 to 20

Los Angeles residents can collect free food packages from Monday, Aug. 17, through Thursday, Aug. 20, at multiple community pantries across the city.

Participating households are eligible to receive up to 36 kilograms of food without spending any money. The relief supplies include proteins, frozen items, soups, legumes, pasta, fresh fruits, and vegetables.

The initiative aims to relieve financial burdens for hundreds of local families. In recent weeks, numerous households have faced financial complications due to insufficient income, forcing residents to adjust budgets or work extra shifts to pay household bills.

Community organizations said they are providing the free food so families can continue saving money each month. Attendees must bring identification and a large bag to transport their groceries from the distribution sites.
