The Municipality of Lykovrysi-Pefki, working with the Region of Attica, will host a free 3x3 basketball tournament on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026 at the 1st General Lyceum of Pefki, open to players aged 10 to 100.
The tournament is being organized together with GNC 3on3 and forms part of two municipal programs, "In the Embrace of Attica" and "Culture and Sport in Our Neighborhoods," which aim to bring sporting activity and entertainment into local communities.
Games will be played in the courtyard of the 1st General Lyceum of Pefki, at 34 Eirinis Avenue, Pefki, postcode 15121, turning the school complex into the focal point of the city's basketball activity for two days.
Dates, Venue and Free Entry
The tournament takes place over the weekend of 19 and 20 September 2026 at the school in Pefki, and entry is completely free for participating teams.
Organizers said the event is meant to strengthen the spirit of teamwork, fair competition and exercise in open-air spaces across the municipality's neighborhoods.
Open to Players of All Ages
Participation is open to everyone from age 10 to 100, regardless of playing level. The municipality called on young people, groups of friends, amateurs and experienced players alike to form their own teams and enjoy the games.

Marios Psychalis, the Mayor of Lykovrysi-Pefki, said the municipality was once again welcoming the 3x3 basketball tournament with energy, smiles and competitive spirit. Kostas Sotiriou, the Deputy Mayor for Sports of Lykovrysi-Pefki, said three players make one team and endless energy. He said the municipality was inviting everyone to its 3x3 tournament for games, loud music and basketball moments that would be remembered, and he urged participants to step onto the court and give everything. He said the municipality was investing in the younger generation and showing that sport is a core priority for the area.
