Albanian national team forward Mirlind Daku has joined Spartak Moscow from Rubin Kazan on a three-year contract, stating that his primary motivation is to win trophies and make people happy.

Speaking to Championat, the 28-year-old striker said taking a risk was necessary to win trophies, adding that there would be no beautiful story without taking risks. He emphasized his goal to help Spartak become champions of Russia for the first time in ten years, noting that the red-and-whites started the season well and declared championship ambitions.
Career Record with Rubin Kazan and Albania
Daku played for Rubin Kazan starting in 2023 before transferring to the Moscow club. During his time with the Kazan team, the forward made 93 appearances, scoring 38 goals and providing 13 assists. He has also scored one goal in 15 games for the Albania national team.
