ONP Starts Home Pension Payments in Lima on Sept 14

Peru's Oficina de Normalización Previsional (ONP) will begin delivering pensions directly to retirees' homes across Lima Metropolitana and Callao starting Monday, September 14, 2026, running through Wednesday, September 23. The agency said the home-visit service will be carried out through Banco de la Nación, the state bank.

The program will reach 10,171 beneficiaries, with visits scheduled according to where each pensioner lives. The ONP has set specific dates for Lima Norte, Lima Sur and Lima Centro, along with two additional days set aside for pensioners who could not be located during the first round of visits.

The ONP is the government body responsible for administering Peru's public pension system, including the long-running 19990 and 20530 regimes. Banco de la Nación, the state-owned bank, regularly partners with public agencies to carry out cash and benefit payments across the country, including in areas with limited access to bank branches.

Home visit schedule by zone

Deliveries will begin in the districts that make up Lima Norte and continue over the following days in the southern and central zones. Pensioners were advised to identify which sector their home falls under to know when to expect a visit.

In Lima Norte, visits are scheduled from September 14 to 16 and will cover Ancón, Bellavista, Callao, Carabayllo, Carmen de la Legua, Comas, Independencia, La Perla, La Punta, Los Olivos, Mi Perú, Magdalena, Pueblo Libre, Puente Piedra, San Martín de Porres, San Miguel, Santa Rosa, Santa Rosa de Quives and Ventanilla.

Lima Sur will be visited on September 17 and 18, covering Barranco, Chilca, Chorrillos, Lurín, Miraflores, Punta Negra, San Borja, San Isidro, San Juan de Miraflores, Santiago de Surco, Surquillo, Villa El Salvador and Villa María del Triunfo.

Los pensionistas de Lima Metropolitana y el Callao recibirán su pensión a domicilio entre el 14 y el 23 de septiembre de 2026, según la ONP.

Lima Centro will follow from September 19 to 21, taking in Ate, Breña, Chaclacayo, Cieneguilla, El Agustino, Jesús María, La Molina, La Victoria, Lima, Lince, Lurigancho, Pachacamac, Ricardo Palma, Rímac, San Juan de Lurigancho, San Luis, Santa Anita and Santa Eulalia.

Once that circuit is complete, the ONP will carry out a second visit on September 22 and 23. This stage will be aimed solely at pensioners who could not be located during their initially assigned date.

Checking payment certificates online

Alongside the visit dates, pensioners can verify their payment certificate through the ONP's online platform. To access the document, users need to go to the "Cobro pensión" section and select the option "Quiero ver mis constancias de pago."

The system will ask for the type and number of the user's identity document, as well as their virtual key. After logging in, users must select the menu option for checking payment certificates.

Pensioners who do not yet have a virtual key can request one through the "Tu zona segura" section by selecting "Quiero mi clave virtual." The process requires entering personal information and contact details. A security code is then sent to the registered email address, which is used to create a personal, non-transferable password.

How to get help

For questions about the home payment service, the ONP has enabled its "ONP Te escucha" phone line at (01) 634 2222, option 1. The line operates Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
