The Peru national volleyball team has qualified for the round of 16 at the 2026 U17 Volleyball World Championship with one group match remaining.
A victory over the Philippines allowed the team, led by head coach Marcello Bencardino, to secure its spot in the knockout stage. Peru faces defending champion China in its final Group B match on Tuesday, August 11 at 7:00 p.m., seeking to secure second place in the group amidst high expectations for the team.

The round of 16 is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 12. Matches to determine 17th through 24th places will also take place on the same day.

Peru must wait for the conclusion of Matchday 5 to confirm its next opponent. The team currently occupies third place in Group B, which would match them against Italy, the second-place team in Group D.
