A journalist swapped her press credentials for farm duties at the Ferme de Découverte de Saint-André, spending 24 hours in the role of a seasonal farmworker as part of a summer series on the people behind holiday tourism.
The educational farm, which gives the public access to around 300 animals, was the setting for the latest instalment of a series in which reporters embed with seasonal workers to experience their jobs firsthand.
The journalist found that the experience offered as much to learn for her as it typically does for the farm’s visitors.
