Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez faced online mockery after his press service posted a photograph on social network X showing him without legs, Spanish publication El Mundo reported.

In the picture, the head of cabinet of ministers looked intently at a monitor used to communicate with his team, but public attention was drawn to the missing lower part of his body. El Mundo noted that the unusual image generated many guesses, with bad photo editing being the main theory.
Social Media Reaction
Social media users actively mocked the photograph, and the press service later published a video in which Sánchez was shown wearing trousers.
Previously, the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) removed U.S. President Donald Trump from an official photograph of the Spanish national team after their victory in the 2026 World Cup final.
