Japanese carmaker Toyota has unveiled the Corolla 60th Anniversary special edition in Europe to celebrate six decades of its global best-selling car model.
Order books are already open for the commemorative lineup, which is available in hatchback, Touring Sports estate, and sedan body styles. Initial deliveries to European customers will begin at the end of October 2026.
Styling and interior features
The 60th Anniversary edition introduces new exterior paint options, led by an exclusive metallic blue color paired with a contrasting black roof and black pillars for the hatchback and estate models.
The exterior design also features 17-inch ten-spoke alloy wheels with a machined finish, dark chrome wheel nuts, matte silver decorative trim, and darkened fog light surrounds. Special 60th Anniversary badges are placed on the rear doors.
Inside the cabin, changes are subtle. The special edition includes door sill scuff plates bearing the anniversary logo alongside black textile floor mats finished with silver piping.
Standard equipment features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.5-inch central multimedia display screen. Toyota T-Mate and Toyota Safety Sense driver assistance packages are also included as standard.
Powertrains and manufacturing
Toyota has made no mechanical modifications to the vehicle. The European Corolla 60th Anniversary lineup is offered exclusively with self-charging hybrid powertrains.
The hatchback and Touring Sports estate variants can be ordered with either a 1.8-liter hybrid system producing 138 horsepower or a 2.0-liter hybrid unit producing 176 horsepower. The sedan version is available only with the 1.8-liter setup.
Toyota produces the hatchback and Touring Sports estate models at its manufacturing plant in the United Kingdom. The sedan version is assembled at Toyota's plant in Turkey.

The current 12th-generation Corolla family is approaching the end of its model lifecycle, with an all-new Corolla generation expected to launch in 2027.
