Lisbon police arrested two men in the nightlife area of the Misericordia parish on suspicion of drug trafficking and possession of a prohibited weapon, according to the PSP.
Officers first detained a 35-year-old man after he behaved suspiciously upon noticing their presence. A search found and seized 44 individual doses of hashish.
Ten minutes later, at around 4 a.m., police intercepted an 18-year-old who tried to avoid a stop by reversing his vehicle. When officers approached him, they found a knuckleduster he had concealed near his groin.
Both men were notified to appear before a court.
