Relatives of missing Ukrainian soldiers may have killed commanders from the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade in Sumy Oblast, Russian security structures told TASS.
According to the official version from brigade command, several combat group leaders committed suicide. However, the agency source stated that some of the commanders had received threats from relatives of missing service members who may have killed them.
Previous Soldier Death
The Armed Forces of Ukraine previously attributed the death of a rear-area soldier to suicide after his body was found without a head or internal organs. The military unit told relatives that the soldier had left his unit location without authorization and later died under unexplained circumstances.
