Victoria, a Spanish luxury bridal fashion brand founded by Vicky Martín Berrocal and owned by the Scalpers group, entered the Peruvian market in August 2026 through a partnership with Malva, a Colombian luxury department store and multibrand retail platform. The brand's debut in Peru runs through Malva's physical store at the Jockey Plaza shopping centre in Lima.
The move was announced on August 10, 2026 in a company statement, which said Victoria was entering both Peru and Colombia through the alliance with Malva. The company described the step as the start of its expansion into Latin America.
Martín Berrocal, Victoria's founder and creative director, said the arrival in Latin America marked a turning point in the brand's history. She said doing so alongside Malva, which she said shares Victoria's vision of luxury, design and attention to detail, offered the best guarantee of connecting authentically with the market in Colombia and Peru.
The announcement was distributed by ROC·PR, the agency handling the launch. Under the alliance, Malva will sell Victoria's bridal, wedding guest and mother-of-the-bride collections. The companies have not announced plans for Victoria to open its own store in Peru.
Victoria's background and international footprint
Victoria was founded in Seville in 2016 and joined the Scalpers group in 2018. In Spain, it now operates six of its own stores and sells through more than 90 points of sale. Outside its home market, the brand also has a presence in Italy, the United Kingdom, Mexico, Venezuela, Libya and Qatar, according to the information released alongside its Latin American expansion.
In Colombia, Victoria already has a physical presence at the El Retiro shopping centre in Bogotá, in addition to sales through Malva's online channel. Company statements describe the Peru launch as part of the first phase of Victoria's international expansion plan, which counts Latin America among its growth markets.
Jockey Plaza's wave of new openings
Juan José Calle, general manager of Jockey Plaza, told Gestión that the shopping centre has been converting some of its spaces as part of a broader commercial renewal strategy. He said the mall is preparing a new wave of openings for the second half of 2026, with 16 national and international brands set to arrive across categories including fashion, beauty, accessories, sports, food and entertainment.
Among the incoming names are MIA Beauty, a beauty products chain belonging to the Intercorp group, and Blush Bar, which focuses on cosmetics and personal care. Calle said both would strengthen the mall's beauty category, which he described as performing well.
The renewal also includes international fashion and luxury brands. Golden Goose, known for footwear and high-end urban fashion, is joining the lineup, along with contemporary fashion label Zadig & Voltaire and Tom Ford, which will have a presence in both fashion and beauty. Jockey Plaza said these brands form part of a broader set of new arrivals intended to expand its offering and strengthen its positioning in the premium segment.
