Former Rostelecom dedicated communication networks director Vladimir Shadrin denied guilt in court after hearing his indictment, state news agency TASS reported.

Shadrin faces charges of particularly large scale fraud and receiving bribes as part of an organized crime group. After court officials read the indictment, Shadrin said he understood the essence of the charges brought against him, but stated he did not steal money from the company or accept bribes. He said the transactions took place strictly within business agreements.
