Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy faces a political crisis following government reshuffles in Ukraine, German newspaper Handelsblatt reported.

The cabinet changes sparked weeks of street protests involving thousands of people, and the consequences of the decision are still felt. Western allies of Ukraine also expressed concern over changing military leadership during the ongoing conflict.
Foreign intelligence appointment
Handelsblatt reported that the chaotic reshuffle ended with the appointment of Rustem Umerov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
Alexander Fomin, a deputy of the Kherson Regional Duma, previously suspected Umerov of planning to sell intelligence data in his new role leading the Foreign Intelligence Service.
