Sergio Jaramillo and Héctor Abad survive bombings in Ukraine

This Tuesday saw an attack on a shopping mall in the city of Donetsk, Ukraine, which killed at least three people and injured more than 40.

At the site of the bombing were former peace commissioner Sergio Jaramillo and writer Héctor Abad, who suffered minor injuries.

Through a statement, the Colombians described the moments of panic they experienced during the Russian attack carried out with a cruise missile.

“Tonight, while dining at the RAI pizzeria restaurant in Kramatorsk with Victoria Amelina, an extraordinary Ukrainian writer, and the great journalist Catalina Gómez, we were the target of a Russian attack with a cruise missile launched against the restaurant, that it is also part of a shopping complex,” the statement said.
