Peruvian variety show El Reventonazo de la Chola claimed the top position in weekend television ratings in Lima, leading nationwide viewership during its latest broadcast.
The Saturday entertainment programme on América Televisión secured first place in viewership with 9 rating points. The broadcast surpassed rival comedy show Chapa Tu Money, which registered 7.2 points, and Latina network's talent competition Yo Soy, which recorded 6.3 points. Panamericana's JB Noticias scored 3.8 points, while Sunday news programme Cuarto Poder led its own broadcast night with 8.5 points.
The winning episode featured the debut of a new parody segment titled Chola Sin Money, alongside guest appearances by leading cast members from the soap opera Señora del destino. The telenovela, produced by Del Barrio Producciones, currently holds the ratings lead in its time slot. Musical group Mallanep also performed during the show.
