The Yaroslavl Regional Court has received a criminal case against a 48-year-old local resident accused of walking through cemeteries and collecting information on the graves of military personnel from the special military operation, the court press service told Lenta.ru.
The man has been charged with high treason under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The court press service said his trial will be held in a closed session.

Cemetery Data Collection
According to investigators, the suspect regularly traveled to cemeteries throughout the region between October 2024 and August 2025. During these visits, he searched for the graves of special military operation fighters and recorded their personal data.
Investigators said he subsequently transmitted the collected details to representatives of Ukrainian special services.
In an earlier case, Federal Security Service officers detained an 18-year-old resident of Taganrog who was planning a terrorist attack targeting Russian military personnel.
