An eyewitness reported that approximately 200 people were inside the venue when law enforcement personnel arrived and took control of the building. As officers initiated the inspection, two patrons attempted to escape from the venue in separate bids to avoid security forces.

One visitor smashed a glass window located near a stairwell and tried to climb out onto the street, but law enforcement officers intercepted and stopped him before he could flee. A second visitor leaped from a balcony on the second floor of the establishment.

Search for prohibited substances

Following an initial inspection of the premises, police officers began conducting personal searches of the venue's guests. Telegram channel Shot reported that officers asked visitors to display the contents of their bags and pockets so they could be inspected for prohibited substances. Patrons were allowed to leave the venue individually after passing the check.

The raid became public during the night of August 23 after multiple police vehicles were seen pulling up outside the venue on Tverskoy Boulevard shortly before 2:00 a.m. Officers immediately entered the building, instructed staff to shut down the sound system, and barred visitors from leaving while checks were carried out.
