Retailer MediaMarkt has reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge laptop by more than 400 euros in an online promotion.
The device, which usually sells for nearly 1,000 euros on MediaMarkt's online platform, is currently listed for 599 euros. Eligible students can lower the purchase price to 549 euros after validating their student status to claim an additional 50-euro discount.
South Korean technology manufacturer Samsung designed the Galaxy Book4 Edge as part of the Copilot+ PC category. The laptop features an ultra-thin chassis measuring 15 mm in thickness and operates silently to handle everyday multitasking.
Hardware specifications and AI processing
The laptop is powered by an eight-core Qualcomm Snapdragon X Plus processor running at 3.8 GHz. The processor operates alongside a 45 TOPS Hexagon Neural Processing Unit that allows local artificial intelligence features to execute smoothly without relying on cloud services.
System performance is supported by 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 512 GB NVMe solid state drive for storage. The hardware configuration ensures immediate boot times for the Windows 11 Home operating system.
The computer features a 15.6-inch IPS screen with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display includes an anti-glare treatment designed to reduce light reflections and protect eye health during extended use.
For multimedia performance, the laptop includes integrated Qualcomm Adreno graphics and stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos audio technology. A dual-microphone system captures voice audio during video calls.
Connectivity and retailer services
MediaMarkt offers several operational services for purchasers of the laptop, including free in-store pickup at nearby physical retail locations, backing by the manufacturer's official warranty, and direct return management for unexpected issues.
Wireless connectivity on the laptop supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 standards for data transfers and peripheral connections. Physical ports include two high-speed USB4 connectors, one traditional USB 3.2 port, an HDMI 2.1 video output, a MicroSD card reader, and a combined headphone and microphone socket.
The laptop is equipped with a 61.2 Wh battery that leverages the energy efficiency of ARM architecture to provide full-day operation away from electrical outlets. The battery supports fast charging using a compact 65 W USB-C power adapter. The device weighs 1.5 kg for mobile use.
