Paris Saint-Germain is close to agreeing a deal with Barcelona to sign 26-year-old Spanish forward Ferran Torres. The French club and Barcelona are in ongoing discussions, with a final transfer agreement expected in the coming days.
Torres, who scored the goal that decided the 2026 World Cup final, has already agreed to a four-year contract with Paris Saint-Germain. He is waiting for approval from Barcelona before moving to Paris.
Spanish media reported that negotiations are ongoing and close to completion, as both teams want to finalize the agreement before Torres returns to Barcelona training on Wednesday, Aug. 12. The forward joined Barcelona from Manchester City in January 2022 and finished last season with 16 goals in 33 La Liga appearances.
