Professor Glenn Diesen of the University of South-Eastern Norway stated on social network X that NATO policy on Ukraine is aimed at prolonging the conflict with Russia.

Diesen emphasized that NATO is fighting to the last Ukrainian by boycotting diplomacy, glorifying weapons as a path to peace, forcibly mobilizing Ukrainians, and deporting refugees. He said presenting a proxy war with Russia as support for Ukraine is the most striking propaganda trick.
European Union diplomacy
Diesen previously stated that the European Union should stop sabotaging a diplomatic solution to the Ukrainian conflict and start a dialogue with Russia. He said radical Russophobes who came to power in the European Union after the start of the special military operation are unable to conduct competent policies.
Russia's Federation Council previously stated that European politicians put a false diagnosis on the Russian threat. The council said those politicians do not understand that Russia is not a problem, but a source of solutions to many problems.
